Module learning outcomes
To evidence knowledge, understanding of and to evaluate the principles of criminal liability and the offences listed in the syllabus.
To analyse and evaluate, in selected areas studies in depth, the relationship between the substantive rules of criminal law, policy, policing, the trial process and sentencing.
To apply the law to factual situations by the development of problem -solving skills.
To present a critical argument using appropriate legal terminology.
