Wi-Fi at Sussex

Students and staff can connect to the eduroam wifi network anywhere on campus, and at universities around the world.

Connect to eduroam -

1. Download the eduroam installer -
2. Within your device's Wi-Fi settings, select eduroam
3. When prompted, enter:
   • [username]@sussex.ac.uk. For example ano123@sussex.ac.uk
   • Password: your university password.

Troubleshooting

If you’re having trouble connecting to eduroam please ensure:

• @sussex.ac.uk is included after your username
• iOS and MacOS - Turn off 'Private IP address', 'Limit IP Address Tracking and 'Private Relay'
• The date and time on your device is set to local GMT
• Any VPN or web proxy settings are disabled
• 'Forget' eduroam and reconnect to try again

All users of eduroam at Sussex, whether visitors or members of the University, must follow these policies.
