Teaching Support (tutoring) opportunities in Physics and Astronomy
The Department of Physics & Astronomy works with tutors to support the teaching and learning of undergraduate students.
The majority of teaching support (tutoring) positions are filled by current Doctoral Researchers in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Teaching support usually includes workshops and marking. We require all tutors to be trained via the 'Fundamentals of Teaching & Learning in Higher Education' module that takes place in Autumn term each year.
