Mariam is interested in educational research which aims to support the flourishing of teachers and researchers in diverse contexts of higher education. She has published on reflexivity, teacher and researcher development, and higher education under occupation. Her current research explores how classical educational theories and methodologies can enrich contemporary learning environments.
